view on blogging
I will be explaining my thoughts on blogging, this is because i was using blogger last year for this same module and creating blogs on a weekly basis and creating blogs in relation to what i had learnt every week during my lecture therefore for me its nothing new instead i enjoy using blogger and creating blogs.
To be honest when i first started using blogger i personally thought “hang on this is a waste of time right?”
Blogging was completely new to me as to many students last year and many first year students this year. Personally i had No knowledge blogging even existed, gradually i had grew found of blogging during the course of the academic year.
However i must mention that i also found it really hard as i had not kept up to date on a weekly basis. Which lead me to do many blogs at once and which lead to me panicking .
However this lead me to catching up with all the blogs i had not posted. which was a mess i had got myself into and was only myself to blame.
I would advise all students doing first year that they should keep up to date with there blogging some may feel its time consuming, then again i believe you should take time out and balance everything something which i learnt last year during my academic year.
With blogging you are able to express yourself by typing in some what different way, You are also able to discuss and share your thoughts towards different and certain topics.
Blogging is some what popular blogging is also used on websites and by different broadcasting channels such as sky news where you are able to share your thoughts and views on topics as i mention before and also by marketing companies.for new students blogging will assume time consuming for many.
However you gradually get fond of blogging and tend to enjoy typing what you have learnt in lectures which i believe helps you remember what you had learnt during those weeks in your lecture,
during in a short course period i was able to learn how to publish videos and pictures onto blogger which enabled me to create the blog how id like to be once its completed.
Lastly regarding blogging id say is you should publish your weekly blog even though its not as you would like it to be keeping in mind you may have many assignments and would be struggling to keep up to date with your posting.
You can always go back when you have time and spend more time on the blog and complete them through out the year.
REMEMBER DO NOT LEAVE THEM TILL LATE LOL ! :)

Personality
In this blog we will be discussing the difference between personality and self concept starting off with personality. Personality has many different definitions just like Solomon 1999 stated that personality is a "person's uniqe make up which consistently influences the way a person responds to their environment."
I believe, personality means how an individual feels, there behaviour towards others and their aspects towards life, a person’s personality could be affected by their upbringing. Some would be more welcoming where as others will not be this maybe
Here are a few definitions which I was able to find for the term “personality”.
Firstly the term personality means: “the quality of being a person; existence as a self-conscious human being; personal identity.”
Another definition for the term personality is “. the visible aspect of one's character as it impresses others: He has a pleasing personality. “ . (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/personality)
When discussing about someone’s personality we usually tend to talk about what makes that certain individual so different from other individuals and people. In that sense unique , and you may meet people in life that have different personalities as it is unique.
Unique definition: “not typical; unusual” (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/unique)
Perceptual process
Sensation refers to the immediate response of our sensory receptors which involve eyes, ears, nose, mouth and fingers to such a basic stimuli as light, color and sound. Solomon,M.Bamossy (2006)
These are the five sensory which you use to interpret things.
· Sights
· Sounds
· Smell
· Tastes
· Touch
Kotlers’s buyer decision process consists of five factors which are the following
Problem recognition ,Information search, Evaluations of alternatives. Purchase decision, Post purchase behavior
Below is a Black box model of consumer buying behaviour (http://www.marcbowles.com/courses/adv_dip/module12/chapter4/amc12_ch4_two.htm )
This theory was established in the 1960s by Harvard school of business, according to the theory the consumers look into what the financial risks are, how long will it actually take the consumer to make the decision to purchase.
How I see the Perceived Risk Model is that Most of the time people tend to think about the risk of buying anything for example a laptop or and car. Let’s take the car for an example, a lot of thought is always put into when purchasing a car, why this is because the buyer always thinks of the following , The risk, finance, performance, if it drives to the standard there told.
If bought on finance there could be a risk and may not be a risk. The risk could be that the finance could increase or you may lose your job therefore would be unable to pay the monthly instalments or perhaps would it keep up to the standard it requires to be.
Buying a second hand car which is hardly old is still a risk. Buyers tend to think what could be the risk of buying a car which is barely old. Not worrying about finance as he is paying cash. The main concern would be the fact he is not purchasing it from the dealer therefore would not have a manufactures guarantee which are available on most cars.
Perception
Heres out first first picture which shows how certain people would like to see themself as in this particular picture you can see how a girl who suffers from anorexia. desires to look like.
What do you see when looking at this picture?
Are the lines horizontal or parallel ?
The pictures above clearly state an important point as to how we individuals perceive many things and life in everyday.
First Impressions
Personally for myself this was a new experience for me as a whole keeping in mind I had already studied at Brunel University, however this was something new whilst studying at Brunel I was close to home.
Coming to Bucks new university was something whole much different. The university was not close to home therefore I had to live out I was slightly nervous coming to university felt strange to me perhaps because I had been working. So going back to university at this age was a whole new experience for me. I gathered that I would be studying in a complete new environment which would evolve around meeting and socializing with new people most likely students who are younger than me.
What draw my attention firstly when I arrived was the town centre and the new Eden building which I found really appealing. Whilst making my journey towards the university I was left mouth open once I saw the new gateway building, which looked really attractive. I was eager to go inside and explore what they have and added to the building, I was personally impressed with design and layout.
Also what caught my eye was the sports hall on the first floor which I had never seen before. It was something new and I pretty much liked it.
Whilst exploring around I was really impressed with the library and the facilities elsewhere such as the gym on the ground floor.
Once explored I had gone to the student union bar which I had high expectations of since coming from Brunel university. Personally I was not impressed with the student union bar. I felt there’s a lot missing and am sure bucks new uni could offer more to the students by adding something more just that little spark to make it an attractive place for students to hang out with friends and socialise with others In their free or spare time.
Overall staffs at Bucks new university were really helpful and kind I had been welcomed with open arms and felt so comfortable. Till today I do not regret choosing bucks and am glad I’m here as all lectures and staffs are helpful and thrive on guiding students to succeed
